ARES Security Corporation (ASC) has announced that their AVERT products are now in 53% of the commercial nuclear market in the U.S and 60% across North America. The AVERT family of software enables customers to optimize their facilities through detailed risks assessments, allowing clients to improve their level of effectiveness while maintaining low security costs. ARES Security’s customer base includes five of the nuclear fleets within the United States, with a significant percentage using AVERT All Hazards. AVERT All Hazards adds natural disasters and advanced behaviors into the modeling and simulation software’s capabilities.

Ben Eazzetta, CEO of ARES Security said, “We are thankful for the continued support from our customers that allows us to stay committed to ‘Delivering the Nuclear Promise’. Our focus on the continued improvement of the AVERT suite of products, has led to the software becoming a defacto industry standard. As we approach the end of the year, we will be adding even more capabilities to the AVERT product line including additional Advance Behavior Module releases as well as our new Virtual Table Top product.”

The advanced behavior capabilities, which can be given to both security forces and adversaries during the simulation, include sniping, advanced breaching, suppressive fire, communications, team capability assessments, cyber capabilities through “Preparing the Battlefield”, and more. On top of the recent installations, a few facilities will also be receiving the new Virtual Table Top product by the end of the year. The Virtual Table Top combines the AVERT and ASSURE CommandBridge products to mimic real-time scenarios and asset tracking for training purposes. Using the Table Top, operators will be able to run and control AVERT simulations, commanding a virtual blue force against adversaries, and see the real-time impacts of their decisions through CommandBridge. This revolutionary capability allows critical infrastructure operators to perform realistic training scenarios on a daily basis, rather than every few years.
