Integrated Energy Operators
ARES Security conducted risk assessments for a leading U.S. power company’s high-voltage substations to comply with updated North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) regulations, which required significant security upgrades. Using AVERT solutions, the analyses optimized factors such as response time, terrain, sensor packages, and deterrents to improve security while minimizing costs. This resulted in $6 million in savings across three initial sites compared to prior designs and a total cost reduction of over $61 million across their fleet.
